Last night no lie I had the craziest dream, my dream was me going to Rick Ross's superb mansion in the hills and having a sick ass talk with him, like we knew each other or something. Well there's this big controversy regarding him faking his whole story, about being a major drug cartel in miami and actually making millions from that. Granted a lot of his money had come from rapping, no one can deny the guy has lyrical skills, and isn't that all that matters? His Lyrics were about this so called "Thug" lifestyle, and they even got pics of him from the past.. Supposedly he was a correctional officer before coining the name rick ross, which in turn is actually the name of a real drug cartel from California in the 1980's by the name of "Freeway" Ricky Ross. The "Freeway" Ricky Ross was actually sentenced to life in prison, I doubt he'll be following attempting to sue Rick Ross for the name scandal. Here's the story on the Rick Ross's Correctional fiasco as i like to call it.
So here continues my dream, i had an exclusive interview with the man himself, however i can't remember what questions i had asked him. I know that i concluded this...Rick Ross is an entertainer, no matter how much we'd like to think he was something before it doesn't matter, personally his lyrical scheme is decent, Deeper than Rap is his new album and has just been released, he's got a whole new swagger and feel to the album here, and with the j.u.s.t.i.c.e league doing his production the album is solid gold.
