Woke up this morning with a few bucks burning a hole in my pocket so I decided to take a look and do some research on some keyboards...I checked out one in particular called xiosynth by Novation..This 49, also available in 25, key analog is synthesizer is well spent value for money, oh and did i mention i picked one up i was so impressed.. It's got 3 OSCILLATORS, 16 Waveforms and an appreggiater as well. Amongst the three osc's, the 11 assignable knobs have 2 modes so it's really 22 assignable knobs. The Synth can also link up with your favorite DAW software and can sync up with some of the most popular VST's. The synth comes with 200 presets, 60 of which were created by award winning artist like Ferry Corsten and Roots Manuva. Once i pulled it out of the box and plugged it in, the sounds that emanated were amazing, nowhere have i experienced sound from a keyboard this size and weight. The power supply is either USB, AC Adaptor, or even 6 AA batteries. The keyboard also comes with some free drum loops and software. It's even got inputs for microphone with phantom power. I can say i'm way impressed with this synthesizer. Check out the vid yourself.
The video does not do the instrument justice, he just bends a few sounds, the real power is in the actual creation of your own sounds.
